“The perception of colors as an ultimate visual experience makes me fascinated. I bring the question of reality into the very territory of what is inherent in painting, printmaking and volume to exploit colors, transparencies, grids, gaps, passing chords and dissonances. I explore the limits of the media by intuition more than by will. My works end up acting as screens, resonances, frequency modulations. Emotion and artistic expression are in the visual event.”
