He Duoling was born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province in 1948, graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, and now lives and works in Chengdu. His works have won numerous awards both domestically and internationally and have been collected by important art institutions and collectors at home and abroad, including the National Art Museum of China, Long Museum, Song Art Museum, Yuz Museum Shanghai, Macao Museum of Art and Contemporary Gallery Kunming in China and Fukuoka Art Museum in Japan.
