Larry Fink

Larry Fink, born in 1941 in New York, the United States, in over sixty years works as a professional photographer. His works have been shown in museums all over the world. He has had one-man shows at New York’s Museum of Modern Art and Whitney Museum of American Art, amongst others.
He has exhibited a retrospective of his work at the Italian festival Fotografia Europea, and also had a 2019 solo show at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Massachusetts and at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, both in the United States. Larry’s two-person show with Judith Joy Ross, at the Allentown Art Museum in Pennsylvania, just ended in April 2023. In 2015, he received the International Center for Photography’s Infinity Award for Lifetime Fine Art Photography. In 2017, Larry was the recipient of the Lucie Award for Documentary Photography. He has also been awarded two Guggenheim Fellowships and two National Endowment for the Arts Individual Photography Fellowships. He taught for over fifty-two years, with professorial positions held at Yale University, the Cooper Union and, lastly, at Bard College, where he is an honored professor emeritus.
