Born in 1974 in Lu’an, Anhui Province, Li Meng graduated in 1999 from Southwest Normal University (now Southwest University) with a bachelor’s degree. In 2008, he obtained his master’s degree from Hunan Normal University. He is a national second-class artist and currently serves as a member of China Artists Association, an expert reviewer for China National Arts Fund, the deputy director of the Watercolor Painting Art Committee of Sichuan Artists Association, the vice-president of Sichuan Contemporary Oil Painting Academy and a full-time painter at Chengdu Art Academy.
