Born in 1959, Mou Huan graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and studied at the Düesseldorf Art Academy in Germany. Mou Huan’s works defy easy classification into a specific school or genre.
Rooted in simplicity and poetic sentiments, his works eschew unnecessary strokes while offering personal, thought-provoking depictions that are rich and profound.
