Known as the “crystal queen”, Suzan Drummen is an internationally renowned installation artist and Royal Dutch painter. Her crystal pieces have been exhibited in art galleries and spaces around the world. Her works present a continuous study and practice of space, illusion, color, and optical refraction.
The grandiose pieces must be manually assembled, and each crystal seems to have its own life once they are organically combined into a whole. Although viewed from afar as clear and orderly patterns, the artworks challenge the viewers’ perception with their complex details and multifaceted refracted light. Suzan hopes to create a strong visual experience for viewers by discovering a broader world through mirror perspectives and dazzling crystal reflections.
