As a professional artist, Chen Wenling (born in 1969) is one of the most representative artists of Chinese contemporary art. He was awarded the Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, and serves as a “Sino–Australian Art Ambassador”.
Enjoying a high reputation in the world, Chen specializes in sculpture and has also dabbled in installation, painting, photography, contemporary calligraphy, etc. His artworks have been collected by important public organizations such as Houston Museum of Fine Arts in the United States, Doosan Art Center in Denmark, National Art Gallery of Korea, Melbourne Museum in Australia, the National Art Museum of China, CAFA Art Museum, Yuz Museum, Alibaba Group, Shanghai Financial Street, etc.
