Fan Bo was born in Tianjin in 1966. Perception is the main theme of his works. Under this theme, he explores the inner world of the human beings and different social roles through a variety of concrete subjects, media, and texts. From exploring the spirit of the times to re-examining the creation experiments based on visual perceptual capability, Fan Bo has always maintained his keen insight and resoluteness.
The development of his works witnesses a prolonged process of abstraction and ideation, while he keeps trying to represent the invisible and intangible inner world of the human beings. His study has been published in journals such as Art Magazine, New Arts, Art Research, and Art Observation.
