anothermountainman (Stanley Wong)

anothermountainman (Stanley Wong) was born in 1960 in Hong Kong, where he currently lives and works as a designer, contemporary artist, and a visiting professor at the Department of Art and Design of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
In addition to design and advertising, he is also passionate about photography and visual creations with a strong focus on social issues. Notably, he gained significant recognition for his “red-white-blue” series, which showcased the positive spirit of Hong Kong, earning him a place representing Hong Kong, China at the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005. Stanley Wong is the recipient of more than 600 local and international awards for his art, design, photography and advertising works. Many of his artworks have been included in over 150 exhibitions nationally and internationally. His works feature in the permanent collections of numerous art galleries, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art and Hong Kong M+ Museum in China and Victoria and Albert Museum in the UK.
