Nobuaki Takekawa

Nobuaki Takekawa was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1977. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Tokyo University of the Arts in 2002.
His works are created in the form of plane, solid, and installation. While drawing inspiration from self-identification and self-concern, he also explores the problems that exist within society. In recent years, he participated in the Yokohama Triennale 2020 in Japan, the 9th Vladivostok International Biennale of Visual Arts, and the exhibitions at the Primorsky State Art Gallery in Russia. Nobuaki Takekawa’s works are collected by prestigious galleries and foundations around the world, including the Ford Foundation in the United States, the National Museum of Fine Art in Osaka, Japan, and the Collection Lambert in France.
